The project
This client needed to develop a robust content library and write a book quickly in order to begin supporting individuals who were out of work due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He called on us to outline, research, write, and design all of this content in a matter of weeks.
Introduction
This client was uniquely passionate about helping people who have lost their jobs due to the COVID-19 pandemic get back to work fast. He knew that his decades of industry expertise in human resources and recruiting could be put to good use, but he also knew he didn’t have the luxury of waiting around to develop the content. He needed to act fast, and turned to bodetree advisors to turn his dream into a reality.
Why bodetree advisors?
The client initially found us after reading our founder’s book, “Enlightened Entrepreneurship.” He enjoyed the tone and approach of the book and wanted something similar for himself.
The challenge
The challenge we faced in this engagement was time. Developing a massive original content library and transforming that into a commercially-available book usually takes months for even the fastest writers. Our team, on the other hand, had just three weeks to get the job done.
The approach:
There was a lot to do in a very short amount of time, so we made the most of our resources by splitting up into teams. Our research team set out collecting and validating the sources and facts needed to add credibility to the book. Meanwhile, our writing team set to work crafting the various sections and making sure we got the tone just right.
There were three main deliverables for this project: over forty blog articles, longer, more in-depth downloadable guides, and of course a comprehensive book.
It was a race against the clock, but we delivered all three of these items on time and on budget.
